BEWARE: anyone bringing luxury shoes, or shoes they value, know what you are getting into. Payed $300 dollars up front for a basic and not ideal glued on double sole on two very expensive shoes that originally come with a Blake stitch.
I was not expecting perfection as this is hand worked but at the least not to receive damaged shoes. Both shoes had cut marks, the Salvatore Ferragamo loafers had deep cuts exposing the corium layer of the leather. And when I asked about this he said “it’s common and he does it all the time and there’s nothing he can do”. And that “I’m lucky it happened in a place people can’t see”. I can only imagine the amount of people that didn’t speak up and are out there walking around with that.
This left me with loafers I saved up and spent $1000 hard earned dollars on and $300 for a glued on sole which are worse than how I brought them in. He’s a kind dude, and it hurts to write a negative review on hardworking craftspeople and small businesses. But PLEASE do not expect decent quality. This is great for people that just need to get their shoes patched and just good enough to walk on.
Hopefully this helps folks that have shoes they really care about and need them to be treated as such. Remember, these are big investments and should last a very, very long time with proper care. And now I have cosmetically damaged shoes at best and structurally damaged shoes at worst.

When I got these vintage beauties for too suspiciously good of a deal I should’ve known better- they came in rough shape. Practically falling apart. I brought them to Tony’s right away and they were saved! Thank you so so much for mending my dream shoes. You did awesome and I’ll be back!

I’ve taken two pairs of good quality leather boots to Tony to be resoled. They’ve both come back better than new! Not only did he resole them both, he also cleaned buffed and conditioned the leather. One pair he even stitched a better quality midsole. Yes, you do have to pay up front for the work, and it takes a week for my boots to be done, but don’t let that deter you! It’s worth the money and the wait. I’ll only be bringing my boots here to be resoled from now on.

I needed a moccasin toe resewn and Tony had it done within the week. Looks good as new and was very reasonably priced. Some shoes these days aren't worth fixing, and Tony will tell you if they aren't. He's honest and great at what he does.

Walked in to have a few stitches put into a gym brace. The item cost me $11. I thought a foot of thick thread would be a few dollars. He looked at it and quoted me $30. Absolutely ridiculous. He could have fixed this in about 60 seconds and would have received a great review. But he chose 1 star instead.

Tony’s Shoe Repair is hands down one of the most well kept secrets I’ve stumbled upon in Winchester. The minute I walked in I was enamored by the employees dedication to their craft. I had them install rubber soles on my goodyear welted boots, and they had it done on time in exactly a week. The outcome was beyond what I expected. Gorgeous experience. I can’t stress enough how very friendly and knowledgeable they are at what they do there! The photo speak for itself!!!
