Jose is top-notch. He is a Cabbagetown (and beyond) institution, going strong for as long as I can remember. Recently, he brought back a lamb leather jacket that I thought was ruined - it turned out just amazing, truly A++. The same goes for the shoes, belts, and bags I have brought to him over the years. José is a very friendly no nonsense guy with fair pricing! He put some new vibram soles on my cowboy boots and helped me shorten the heel, price was less than what I paid at other places and he did it in less time. Highly recommend! I'll be back for sure.

Price is good, a little too friendly to my liking, but quality of work was very poor. I brought in my leather bag to have the strap repaired, he used purple thread on a black bag, and it lasted a whole 1 1/2 weeks before it fell apart. I will not go back.

I brought it some boots to repair. Upon using them the inner support that was added was already peeling off, I had to glue them back with e6000. A week later one of soles fell off, now I’m sanding down and gluing them myself. If you can’t do something properly like stitching soles, don’t assure me you can and waste my money, time, and ruin my boots.
