The service was excellent. I use to go to the cobbler’s bench in Hamilton. Mr Amendolia was a wizard with shoe repair. However he retired and I needed to have the back part of my heel sewn back on to the upper part of my boot. This little shop run by a single person with a mountain of foot wear he was working on, got it done in the timeframe that he had said he would. He was pleasant and friendly. Taking any and all of my shoe repair work there from now on

There was a shoe repair place that was there 30 years ago, i think this guy took over because the guy who started that business was fantastic. Always priced well and super courteous.
I live in Brantford now and don't have a place here but driving to Burlington isn't economically feasible.
After reading these reviews, I will stay away.

If there was a zero star option, I’d be selecting that. DO NOT bring your belongings here for repairs. I brought a boot here to have an eyelet repaired and was given a date for completion. The owner then closed down his shop over that completion date and could not be contacted. Once he finally reopened the shop and I went in to retrieve the boot, the owner told me the repair had not even been completed AND he lost the boot. I had already paid for the repair to be done. Don’t bring your things here. The customer service is non existent and you might not get your item back. Zero stars.

Shocked at some of the negative reviews here. I've been coming here for years and absolutely the most fair pricing, professional and best service bar none. To those complaining, honestly I don't get it but, if you want great service this is the place.

Destroyed my dance shoes! I needed just some basic gluing around the sole, he can't do even that properly! Instead he left excessive glue all around, and left unglued regions.... when I asked for a refund he refused. Will not recommend and would not return as a customer.

I am thrilled to find a professional that knows how to care for quality leather goods. I find the quality of the repairs beyond compare, the quality of the goods sold a great value for the quality (someone laughably compared the products to the cheaper versions available nearby), and the service honest, direct, albeit occasionally curt (not rude or "snotty"). He will not sell you something you don't need, nor charge you for unnecessary work.

Neil has one of the best shoe repair shops anywhere. He has taken care of my shoes for many years, first operating as Moneysworth & Best. He has taken care of my custom handmade shoes from Italy and England and kept them looking as new. I trust his advice when it comes to leather goods. A finely done repair can save me hundreds if not thousands of dollars, compared to the cost of a new pair of well made shoes.
